Obituary of Mario Italo Vendittelli

With his family by his side, April 7th 2023 Mario passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord. He leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years Jeannine, his children Nick (Kim), Lisa (Mike) DeGasperis, and Linda (Amiel) Chios, his loving grandchildren Kaitlyn, Sara, Alexa, Peter, Michael, Nicole, and Jack. Survived by his sister Carmel Costantini, sister in law Jean (late Vito) Vendittelli, brother in law Jack (Donna) Thibault, sister in law Therese (Francois) Thibault and brother in law Roger (late Brenda)Thibault. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Pre deceased by his parents Nicola and Concetta Vendittelli, brother Battiste (late Marie) Vendittelli.

Jeannine and family will receive visitors on Wednesday April 12th at George Darte Funeral Home 585 Carlton St. St Catharines, (905) 937- 4444 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Vigil Prayers to be held at 3pm. A Funeral Mass for Mario will be held at St Alfred Church 272 Vine St, on Thursday April 13th at 11am with burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
