Obituary of Carolyn Julia Jedlinski
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, Carolyn Julia Jedlinski (nee Nalewayek) on Friday, May 5th 2023 with her three daughters at her side. Carolyn will be remembered by her loving children: Katie (Steve) Kiss, Lisa (Marcel) Breen and Monica (Jason) Cola; cherished grandchildren: Stephen Kiss, Emerencia Kiss, Julia Breen, Abby Breen, Augustin Cola and Ignatius Cola. Predeceased to Carolyn is her devoted husband of 43 years, Antoni who passed in 2016, parents, Bill and Louise Nalewayek and sister Veronica Woods. Carolyn was an active member in Our Lady of Victory Church, retired after teaching nursing for 35 years, loved travelling, dancing and had a gift for music. Most people would remember Carolyn as a social butterfly, who was known for her great sense of humour and style. Thank you to the staff at Pioneer Elder Care in St. Catharines (Vine St.) for all of their care and support for our dear mother over the past four years. In keeping with Carolyn’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. The family invites guests for a time of visitation at the funeral home in St. Catharines on Tuesday, May 9th 2023 from 6:00-8:00PM with vigil prayers at 7:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held the following afternoon at 12:00PM at Our Lady of Victory Church 490 St. Clair St., Chatham, Ontario. Doors will be open for a period of visitation from 11:00AM-12:00PM before the mass for all to pay respects. A Burial will take place following at the Maple Leaf Cemetery. If desired, please make mass intentions in honour of Carolyn.
