Terri, Mark, Catharine and families I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. We worked to-gether for years at the Credit Union they were the good old days, we worked hard but always had time for a good laugh. She was dedicated to the Credit Union but her family was #1. I bet you she has already opened up a branch in heaven and waiting to hire us old girls when we meet again. Take Care Guys, my heart is with you at this time.
Love, Barbara Thompson

My condolences to Terri, Mark, Catherine and your families. Kitty was a very special, strong and independent woman. When I was hired at the Credit Union back in 1977 it was Kitty who trained me. We worked together for 13 years. Her family was her first love and her career at the Credit Union was second. Many good times and good memories. You will be missed.

Dear Kitty,
I was shocked and saddened when I got the news of your sudden passing. FirstOntario will not be the same, you have been a fixture on the FirstOntario team for the last 51 years. I remember the first day I met you, 15 years ago. You were not shy in pointing out to me the things we needed to improve upon. I always appreciated your honesty. And over the years since then I cherished the relationship we built. I liked to tease you, and the girls told me, “she loves it”. You were always happy to see me and you always had a hug and a smile for me. My last memory of you was at your 50th work anniversary. I had a meeting that day and had sent you a note of congrats telling you I might not be able to make it. I arrived near the end of the celebration and I remember your big smile as you said “I knew you’d come”.
Kitty you told me once a few years ago when I asked you “Why don’t you retire, you deserve it”, and you looked at me and you said “Dave, I love getting up and coming to work with the team, what the heck would I do everyday?”
Kitty, you did what you wanted to do, right to the last minute. I always admired you and I will always remember you. You will be dearly missed my friend. Rest in peace…..you certainly deserve it!

I am so very sorry for your family’s loss. Not only was I a neighbour of Kitty’s for 4 years in the 90’s but I have also worked many, many years with Kitty at FirstOntario CU, both in the Niagara Street branch and with her in the IMS Dept. Kitty was one of a kind and truly irreplaceable. Her presence will be greatly missed in our department. Rest in peace dear Kitty, your work is finally done ❤️

FA (aka Favourite Aunt) was someone so unique she will never be forgotten. My heart goes out to Terri, Mark, Catherine and family, for this big loss. I know she was the foundation of this family and that she wanted only the best for all of you. I have so many fond memories as a child, teen, and young adult hanging out with my FA and Uncle Dallas. FA was a very important person to me. She was a pillar of strength to those around her, a valuable mentor, and a kind and thoughtful person. It was an honour and privilege to have been a part of her life. She will not be forgotten. Love you and will miss you. Colleen xoxo

Shocked and very saddened to hear of Kitty’s passing. Kitty was a true Icon of FirstOntario Credit Union.
Working full time right til the end for 51 yrs.
Some would ask why not Retire, but to Kitty her enjoyment and past time was to keep working everyday. She was very loyal to the Credit Union and her work for all of her years there. She will definately be missed in the IMS department and going forward without her will be very hard but we will have to remember all the laughs and wonderful times we shared. Sending deepest condolences to Terri, Mark, Cathryn and their families for your loss.
Rest in peace xoxo
