Obituary of Don Damario
We are profoundly saddened by the loss of Don Damario who passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25th, 2023, surrounded by his adoring family. He was the loving husband of Patricia, beloved father of Debbie (Bob Ingram), Darlene (Frank van den Bosch) and Paul (Annie), dear grandfather of Sean (Leah), Steven (Grace), Tianna, Hannah, Lauren and Jennifer, and great grandfather to Raine. Don will be missed by his sisters, Amelia, Anne Marie, Margaret, Loretta, Barbara and Jean and by his sister-in-law Fran. He is predeceased by his mother Anne DeNoble, father Nick Damario, brother Paul and sister Rita. Don will be lovingly remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Don was a wonderful musician and played the guitar with Sam Lagana for many years, as well as Dino and the Capris. In 1975, Don bought Three D Printers which he ran successfully until he retired in 2012. Don was an avid golfer, book collector and lifelong learner. His easy-going nature and genuine interest in people endeared him to everyone he encountered. He was unwaveringly compassionate, generous, patient and hard working and we aspire to live by his example.
Rest In Peace, dear, sweet Don. You are deeply missed and eternally loved.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and in lieu of flowers, donations to your favourite children’s charity are welcome. Friends and family are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life in memory of Don which will be held on October 7th, 2023, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Kawartha Golf Club, located at 777 Clonsilla Ave., Peterborough.
