Obituary of Robert Edward Mather
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Robert Mather announces his sudden passing on Monday, July 10th 2023 at St. Catharines General Hospital in his 65th year. Lovingly remembered by his son Benjamin Mather; co-parent and lifelong friend, Stephanie Mather; sisters, Patricia (Harry Jakobs) Mather and Nancy (Darren) Ulch; Cool Uncle to: Sara (John) Boerema, Lukas Jakobs, Melanie and Brandon (Caroline) Ulch; Great Uncle to: Silas, Mathias, Cadence and McKenna; Robert was predeceased by his parents Graham and Helvi Mather. Robert enjoyed the simple things in life: time with his son and family, dedication to his business 180 Marketing, and the comraderie enjoyed from his many years spent rowing and coaching with the St. Catharines Rowing Club. In keeping with his wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place. Time of visitation is welcome on Saturday, July 22 2023 from 11:00AM-1:00PM with a funeral service beginning at 1:00PM followed by a reception in the funeral home Kristen French Fellowship Hall. If desired, please consider making donations to the St. Catharines Rowing Club in honour of Robert. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
