Dueck, Frieda (nee Peters)

Peacefully on Saturday, July 15th at Tabor Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by the love of her family. Frieda, beloved wife of the late Bernie. Cherished mother of her daughter Marilynn and her husband Mark Berti. Devoted grandma of Steven (Tina) and Scott (Ashley) and great grandma of Anthony, Bianca, and Ryan.  Lovingly remembered by her sister Rita (Peter) Klassen, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her brothers John and Al and sisters Erna Fast and Susie Franz.

Frieda immensely enjoyed baking, sewing, teaching people to sew, gardening, watching the Toronto Blue Jays and of course her grandsons and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St., on Tuesday, July 18th from 6-8pm.  A Final Tribute for Frieda will be held in the Ceremony Room of the funeral home Wednesday at 12, noon. Private family interment.

If so desired, donations made to the Canadian Red Cross or Hospice Niagara in Frieda's memory would be appreciated by her family.
