To our dearest Allan,
Your smile is what made us believe in miracles. In life, there wasn’t a day that would go by when your smile would not inspire us to keep moving forward.
Everyone has loved you so much and have been inspired by your successes and love for family.
Pre-deceased by your beautiful wife, Helen; and precious son, Matthew; sister, Peggy; and, brother, Ron. Survived by your son, Philip; and, your brother, Ted (Nancy); and, your sister, Vicky (Pete Bolduc); and nieces and nephews. Henry (2021); your adored and best friend, Carmel; Doug (2023); Trey; Glen (2023); Carolyn, Carly & Chris, Briar, Jordan and Mark (2019). Missed by your dearest friends; Larry Kroeker and Steve Oprici.
I will forever miss our travels together. Your true passion. I will miss your readings of books and our walks together. Golf and baseball were your favourite pastimes. I am so proud of you graduating from Ryerson and moving forward in your professional career to becoming one of the most successful brokers in the Niagara Region when you founded your own real estate company Niagara on the Lake Realty. As many know, you were the “King of Queen Street”! We will never forget the “round” about way you found inspiration at Round Lake for making new friendships and professional inspirations.
I also wish to thank Dr. Eric Ready for all his compassion and support.
Allan, you are an inspiration to us all and I love and miss you so much. My love for you will never end. All my love, your loving partner, Donna Cookson (24-years partnership)

Visitation will be held at George Darte Funeral home, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, Wednesday, September 27th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
Reception following the visitation at Allan's favourite place, the Sandtrap Pub & Grill, 358 Mary Street, Niagara on the Lake.
