Obituary of Angelina Cavaliere

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angelina Cavaliere on September 17, 2023 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her loving husband Armando (1988), she will be dearly missed by her sons Marino and Tino.

In her younger years, Angelina was passionate about volunteering for the St. Alfred Parish. She combined her volunteerism with her love of food by cooking for various charitable events that were hosted by the parish. Angelina was a spirited and caring person who loved to laugh in the company of her family and friends. Her home was always open to everyone, and her warm hospitality made guests feel welcome. She cared deeply about her family and friends, and memories of these shared moments always brought a smile to her face.

Angelina was the epitome of the word “mother”. She gave selflessly and tirelessly to raise her two sons as a single parent after the passing of her husband, always placing their needs ahead of her own. Her passing has left a tremendous void in our hearts that will never be filled. To the world she was one person, but to her sons she was the world. Love lives on until we meet again.

The family will receive friends and visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday September 24th from 6PM-9PM, with Vigil Prayers at 7PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Monday September 25th at 11:00AM. Burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
