Obituary of Judith Anne Reinhardt
It is with great sadness, that the family announces the passing of Judith Anne Reinhardt a loving, and courageous mother, nana, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who gained her wings on Sunday September 17, 2023, at the age of 67. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, resilience, compassion, generosity, and determination that will forever echo in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on July 8th, 1956, in Hamilton Ontario, to Leonard and Dorothy Mitchell, Judith was not only one of 8 children, but she was also an identical twin. She will be reunited with her loving husband Mark who passed away in 2013. She is survived by her two daughters Cheryl (Blair), and Joanne (Tim), her grandsons Hayden and Riley, as well as many sisters’ brothers, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cheryl and Joanne would like to send a special thanks to their auntie Lynne, her nurse Gary, sister-in-law Mary, friends Carol and Toni as well as all the other family and friends that have supported Judith and her girls during her courageous battle.
Judith has requested that her guests wear bright colours, patterns and if you have a fancy hat this would be the occasion to wear it as she would love it, please no black.
In keeping with Judith’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place. We would like to invite family and friends for a time of visitation on Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 2:00-4:00pm as well as 6:00-8:00pm and a celebration of life will be held on September 29, 2023, at 11:00am with interment to follow at Vineland Cemetery. A celebration luncheon will be held following the interment.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Walker Family Cancer Centre or The Heart and Stroke Foundation in Judith's name.
