Obituary of Elizabeth Kemp Neill

NEILL, Elizabeth (Betty) (nee: Davis) - Passed away peacefully , surrounded by her loving family, at the Niagara on the Lake Hospital on Saturday, October 27th, 2012 at 80 years of age. Predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend John, of over 52 years. Loving mum of Elaine Bilkszto, Sharon (Terry) Melnyk and David (Tanya) Neill. Adored nana to Cody, Erin, Jason, Zachary, Katelyn, Caleb and Caden. Dear sister of Thomas, predeceased by her brother Sam and sister Margaret all of Scotland. Betty was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland where after leaving school she began her career as a kilt maker. After coming to Canada in 1967 she used her skills to become a tailoress which she did for many years. Betty will be fondly remembered by her many friends and extended family in Canada, Scotland and also Florida. She was a long standing member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Betty's life will be held in Knox Presbyterian Church on Friday, November 2nd, at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Princess Margaret Hospital Head & Neck Clinic or Toronto General Hospital Transplant Unit would be appreciated by her family. The family would like to express their thanks for the loving care and compassion shown by the nurses and staff at the Niagara on the Lake Hospital. "GONE TO ENJOY THE BLUE SKIES WITH DAD"
