Obituary of Rena Blanche Slatter
It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Rena Slatter (nee Taylor) on September 28th 2023 in her 82nd year at Linhaven. Reunited with her loving husband of 53 years, Edward Slatter, 2015. Cherished mother to Eddie (Shawana), Gary (Karen) and Brian (Nathalie); proud grandmother to Emily (Nick), William (Brittany), Kevin, John, Valerie and great-grandmother to Delilah. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff who gave excellent care to Rena during her stay with Linhaven. In keeping with Rena’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region and/or the McMaster Children’s Hospital in memory of Rena.
