Dear Pani Hnatykiw and family please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, what a wonderful family you have.
I was speaking to my brother Clavko (Jerry) who loves in Savanna Georgia to advise of Pani Hnatykiw’s passing, we spoke about what a great dance teacher he was and also about CYM and going to UK camp without our parents and we were all crying like babies but by the time our two weeks was up we didn’t want to go home.
My dad was a cantor in the church along with your dad, mom and dad are up there with open arms to welcome him.
We have very fond memories.
Speak of him often between your families and this will keep him in your memories. May his memories be a blessing.
May he Rest In Peace.

Dear Mrs. Hnatykiw, Lesha, Sonia and Orest,
Your Husband and Father was a very kind gentleman that did everything for his family. I have fond memories of Riverview, bunny rabbits and delicious Ukrainian food. The hard work ethic of Mr. & Mrs. Hnatykiw carried through your family. I remember Sonia going to Ukrainian school on a Saturday morning learning about her culture and speaking fluent Ukrainian. It was amazing! Please know that I will be praying for you all. God Bless!
Fondly,
Marilyn

Dear Hnatykiw family, our sincere condolences on the passing of Pan Hnatykiw.
For as long as I can remember Pan Hnatykiw (and the entire family) have always been part of the ukrainian culture of Niagara; whether it was with the Ukrainian Youth Association (CYM), ukrainian choir (Homin), the dance group (his and Pani Hnatykiw's support), the Ukrainian Black Sea Hall (UBSH) executive, LYK, and the list goes on.
He always greeted one with a smile and always asked how one was doing and how was the family. He was always there to help. He supported us with CYM and the UBSH, sitting there quietly while the rest of us debated issues and argued, until he finally spoke up, and in his words were the wisdom and compassion that we should all strive for as we impart our opinions and knowledge to others.. His words giving us pause to think and act for the greater good of the ukrainian community and others.
He was the elder we turned to each and every time, and we will miss that.
Unfortunately Ann and I will not be able to attend the services as we are out of town, but again, we send our sincere condolences to the entire family. Take solace in the fact that he touched many lives and has left a permanent impression on many of us.
Love and prayers to all of you...
Michael Hrycusko & Ann Harrison
