Obituary of Casimir Stanley Nikitczuk
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Casey “Casimir” Nikitzcuk on October 21, 2023 at the age of 70. Survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Christine, his sons, Daniel and Matthew, sisters Krystyna (Tony) Bemke, Irena (Rick) Nikitzcuk-Findlay, brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Bev Koziej and many nieces and nephews. Casey is predeceased by his son, Adam (1983) and brother Henry (2021). Retired from General Motors as a Millwright after 36 years of service. He was an avid musician as a drummer for many of his younger years, which he left to spend time with his family and home. He was very creative and most amazing at fixing everything. Casey will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The family wish to express their many thanks to the nurses and doctors in the ICU at the St. Catharines Hospital. In keeping with his wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and the family welcomes guests for a memorial wake in his honour at the Canadian Polish Society, 43 Facer St., St. Catharines on November 4th 2023 at 3:00PM. A private family interment will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice in memory of Casey.
