Obituary of Alice Isabell Miller
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our mother, Alice Miller at the age of 93 on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023.
Alice was predeceased by her husband Murdoch (1994) and leaves behind her 6 daughters, Anne (Tom), Jane (John), Susan (Neil), Gail (Dave), Karen (Steve) and Judy (Greg) as well as her grandchildren, Jennifer (Ray), Jay (Deana), Sabrina (Rob), Adrienne, AJ, Samantha (Josh), Jeff (Liz), Sarah (Patrick), Scott (Lisa), Greg (Liz), Todd (Nicki), Bryan (Lindsay), Mike (Ashley), Travis (Noël), Danielle (Ian), Donna (Louie) and Debbie (Paul) and 17 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by great-grandson Bobby, brother Frank and sisters Lil & Helen.
The family extends sincere thanks to Dr. Schultz and Dr. Gruber for the many years of kindness & compassionate care as well as all of Alice’s care givers, but in particular, Lynn & Laura (CBI), Joy & Rowena (Heatherwood) and Jody, Kathy, Gerri-lynn and Ester (Westhills).
The family will receive friends and family at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, November 27th from 1-2 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 2 pm with interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to Community Care, Salvation Army or Royal Canadian Legion.
