Obituary of Stella Edwards

EDWARDS, Stella- Passed away on Wednesday, October 17th, 2012 in Toronto at the age of 80.Loving mother of Joanne(David) Thompson and John (Carolyn) Edwards. Cherished grandmother of Julianna Thompson and Nolan Thompson. Stella is predeceased by her grandson Connor Edward Thompson. Sister of Diane (Ben) Kooter and Ludvick (Patricia) Podlogar. She will be sadly missed by her nephews Brent, Kurt, Eric and Vaun Podlogar, Simon Kooter and her niece Vanessa McClain. Great aunt to 19 nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered by her former husband Burt Edwards, her mother in law Sarah Edwards, her brother in law Rod (Monica) Edwards, her sister in law Karen (George) Goldthorp, brother in law Bev Goldthorp, and nephews Jim, Todd, Tim and Chris. A sincere thank you to cousin Shirley (Mark) Hadish for all their care and compassion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday from 10:30a.m.-12:30p.m. As per Stella's wishes there will be no service. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to Sick Kid's Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
