Obituary of Eddie Jones
It is with heavy hearts that we share the peaceful passing of Edward Patrick Jones, Friday, November 3rd 2023 in his 85th year. Eddie was a proud big brother of David Jones and sister Margaret Jones. Cherished husband to the late Margaret Ann Jones (July 28th 2023) for 64 years, who he will join souls with. A proud father to Eddie (Sharrie) Jones, Elaine (Bill) Whyte, Diane Jones, Angela (John Kocsis) Jones and Caroline (Allan) Loon. Eddie was a special grandpa to Christine and Don, Michael (Nick), Michael, Jessie, Johnny and Taylor and Jordan; great-grandpa to Emily, Kendra and Joshua; great-great-grandpa to Raelynn. He could not be more loved or missed by his family. Eddie was a retired pipefitter from Port Weller Dry Docks. Eddie and his wife Margaret enjoyed raising their family and traveling with their friends. Eddie was very outgoing. He was a veteran for 50 years, loved his golf and was an active member for the Celtic Club and belonged to White Oaks. Eddie loved his homeland, which was Glasgow Scotland, where he would go back every second year to visit family. He will be loved and missed by all. In keeping with his wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines.
