Carmine Cataldo

March 6, 1975-November 4, 2023 

It is with broken hearts we regret to inform of the untimely but peaceful passing of our beloved Dad, Son, Brother, and friend, Carmine Cataldo at the age of 48. Survived by his beautiful Daughter and love of his life, Penelope Cataldo, Mom Lucia Cataldo nee Paternostro, Dad Frank Cataldo (Ginette), Brothers, Alfonzo Cataldo (Jen, Max, and Sam), Matthew Cataldo (Sara and Luna), Step-brother Christian Brunette (Sheralyn, Jacob and Trinity), Zio Vince, Zia Adriana, Cousins Carm Cataldo (Amy, Mia, Preston, and Priestley), Dina Cataldo-Lo Greco (Francesco), Aunts, Uncles, and cousins in Italy, as well as many more adored family members and friends. A long time employee of Casino Niagara. Carm was easily recognized by his infectious smile. Someone who delighted in impressing every kid around him with his magic tricks and the change in his pockets. A unique soul that lived for a good time with everyone around him. Life is rarely easy and never fair, and with that, we pray that in Carms’ passing we remember to forgive ourselves and those around us, let go of our regrets, and embrace everything we are given today. 

Gone from here but forever with us, he will be missed.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 10th from 11am-1pm at the George Darte Funeral Home &Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St. A Final Tribute for Carmine will follow in the ceremony room of the funeral home at 1pm. If so desired, donations made to Pathstone Mental Health in Carmine's memory would be appreciated by his family.
