Obituary of Howie Small

It is with heavy hearts, we the family announce the passing of our beloved father, Howard Small on Monday, November 6^th 2023, just shy of his 80^th year, surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home. Cherished husband of Shirley Small for over 40 years; proud father of Kevin (Rebecca) Small, Corey (Lauren) Small, Christopher Small, Noelle (Scott) Urquhart; loving grandfather of Rhiannon Small, Henry Urquhart and Alex Small; brother to five sisters. Retired after a successful career as an electrician with Foster & Wheeler, Howie enjoyed the simple things, riding his bike, tending to his property and working around the house. Many will remember Howie walking along the canal with his adored wife. Howie was an avid Denver Brocos fan and loved attending his sons’ sports activities. In keeping with the family’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and family and friends are welcome for a time of visitation on Sunday, November 12^th 2023 from 3-5pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the Juravinski Hospital by the family in memory of Howie.
