Obituary of Kathryn Satkevicius

SATKEVICIUS, Kathryn - Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday October 14, 2012 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Anthony for 57 years. Kay was a cherished and adored aunt to many nieces and nephews and their families across Canada. She will be sadly missed by her best friend Lorette, and fondly remembered by her many friends. Kay will be forever remembered for her great fashion sense and her love of life and friends. Her smile will be missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to the staff at the S.C.G.H for their care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Wednesday October 17 from 6-9. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations made to Breast Cancer Research would be appreciated by her family.
