Evelyn was a big part of my early years growing up on Centre Street.
I remember that she always seemed friendly and happy to me and I always seemed to enjoy "visting".
I'm sure she was properly horrified to find out that my brother, Dale, and I used to play in the "stream" that was actually her kitchen sink waste water - lol.
Growing up across from the Game Farm was a bit of an adventure at times.
We would sometimes get a stray run-away but once or twice we got a whole flock.
I remember being shown the incubators by Evelyn when I was probably 7 ish and it's still a great memory.
I know she and my Mom, Esther, remained in contact for years and she will also miss Evelyn greatly.
I'm so sorry for this loss to her family and friends.
