Obituary of Jack Shortt

On January 3rd, after a brief illness Jack slipped quietly into the night. Loving husband of Judy, dear father of Jenny (Brandon) Armstrong and best Poppa to Jack Armstrong. Survived by his sister Donna Shortt and sister-in-law Terry Shortt. Jack will also be missed by his extended family and friends who felt like family. Predeceased by his parents, Russell & Maddie Shortt and his brothers, Gord (Bernice), Bob (Doreen) and Bruce. Jack enjoyed helping others, making others laugh and a little something sweet for dessert. We will miss his good nature. Our family would like to thank Dr. Matt Greenway and the staff at NHS-St Catharines - 4A for their compassionate care and support. In keeping with Jack’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside will be held.
