The family of Rosemary Teresa MacDonald is saddened to announce her passing on January 8, 2024 in her 84th year. Loving and devoted wife of 64 years to Ian MacDonald. Rosemary is predeceased by sisters Maureen (Lee Kitts) Margaret (Larry Dennis) and sister-in-law Bonnie MacDonald. Rosemary is survived by her husband and brother Alex as well as daughter Carrie (Randy) and son Andy (Michaelle). She is also a cherished grandmother to Rory, Cameron (Miranda), Graeme (Cheyanne), Kaitlyn (Alex), Scott and Emily. Great Nana to Olivia and Bennett Migus. Rosemary will be greatly missed by her loving nieces and nephews Jeff and Shelly Kitts, John and Lynn Bulloch, Randy and Cindy Kitts, Todd and Brenda Eaman, Brent Kitts, Jennifer MacDonald, Chris and Laura MacDonald, Alex and Caroline MacDonald (Richard), Kristy Massie, Jordin and Laryssa Smith as well as all great and grand nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to George Darte Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 19th. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. with a service at 1 p.m. Interment to follow. With Rosemary’s blessing the family requests donations to be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Humane Society of Greater Niagara.
