Our father Roger was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to our family. He was a terrific partner to Debbie Moore. Family came first for Dad. He would bend over backwards to make sure everyone was ok. He cared deeply for us all. Dad was an extremely proud business owner of R.H.JOHNSTON INSURANCE BROKERS LTD that he ran for 50 years until he passed the torch onto his children. When clients came in they were treated like family and always welcomed with a warm smile and a big hug. Port Dalhousie was a huge source of pride to our father and he always contributed to the community he grew up in. Dad was a member of the St.Catharines Jaycees, The Gyro Club , the Lion's Club of Port Dalhousie and the Dalhousie Yacht Club as well as a life long sponsor to various sports organizations.
He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. Dad we love you to the moon and back and know that you are with your beloved Eileen watching over us all.
