Obituary of Piotr Pajak
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Piotr Pajak at the age of 63 with family at his side on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 at the Greater Niagara Falls Hospital. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Agnieszka “Agnes” Pajak; daughter Patrycja “Patty” (Sean) Harder; son Robert Pajak; adored granddaughter Charlotte Harder; siblings Kathy (Joe) Pecman of Niagara Falls and Mikolaj (Wieczyslawa) Pajak, Pawel (Dorota) Pajak and Tadeusz (Stanislawa) Pajak from Poland with many nieces and nephews to miss Piotr. With 40 years behind the wheel, Piotr drove with Linwell Gardens for close to 25 years. Always in good spirits, he enjoyed fishing, gardening and had a special passion for foraging for mushrooms. He recently spent much of his time with family, especially his dear granddaughter, Charlotte. The family wish the express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff on Unit D of the GNGH for their great compassion and care.
In keeping with Piotr’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family welcome family and friends for a time of visitation in the funeral home on Friday, January 19th 2024 from 6:30 – 8:30PM with prayers at 7:00PM and January 20th from 9:00AM to 9:45AM with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 5 Oblate St., St. Catharines at 10:00 AM January 20th 2024. Rite of Committal to be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
