Obituary of Joseph Woelfl
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Joseph Woelfl on Tuesday, January 23rd 2024 at the NHS-St. Catharines with family at his side. He is now reunited with the love of his life, Margarette Woelfl (2018) with whom he shared 66 years of marriage. Joe was a hard-working, kind and generous man who took pride and joy in his family. He lived his life always ready to lend a helping hand. He will be missed by all his family and friends who knew him.
Special thanks to the Royal Henley Staff and Dr. J. for all the care you have given Dad and previously Mom over the years. You have been our extended family and for this we thank you. We also wish to thank the hospital staff for the care and compassion they showed Joe.
In keeping with his wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and both Joseph and Margarette will be laid to rest together at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada and/or a charity of your choice.
