Obituary of Vita Fasulo

FASULO, Vita (nee Maltese)- Peacefully on Sunday, October 7th, 2012 Vita went to be with the Lord at the age of 87. Devoted wife of the late Nicolo Fasulo. Beloved mother of Rosa (Emilio) Ciocca and Tony (Heather) Fasulo. Loving sister of Carlo (Connie) Maltese. Predeceased by her sister Lina ( Andrea) Accardo and her brother Pietro (Antonietta) Maltese and her sister Francesca Maltese. Survived by her sister in law Francesca Fasulo (Ciliberti). Loved by her grandchildren Maria (Paul) Carfagnini, John (Jacqueline) Ciocca, Nick (Serafina) Ciocca, Nicholas (Stephanie) Fasulo, Steve (Erin) Fasulo and Nino Fasulo (Vita Gauley). Loving Great Grandmother of Christina, Jon-Paul, Emma, Emilia, Jack and Rozlyn. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Vita's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Hotel Dieu- Shaver, St. Catharines General Hospital, CCAC and the PSW workers who helped Vita along her journey.The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Thursday at 8:30p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at St. Alfred's Church at 9:30a.m. Entombment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Hotel Dieu- Shaver Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
