Obituary of Yvon Picard

PICARD YVON Passed away suddenly, with his family at his side, at the St Catharines General Hospital, on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012 at 88 years of age. Cherished husband of Florence. Predeceased by his wife Therese (1995) Loving father of Rejean (Maria), Gilles (Diane), Gaetan, Suzanne (George) Klekner-Alt, Stanley (Lucie) and Lynn (Paul) Johnston; dear grandfather of Marc, Danielle, David, Carey, Michael, Kiersten, Marlies, Lili, Renee, Eric, Mackenzie, Evan and many great grandchildren. Dear step father of Roch, the late Rachel (2006) Eddie Bechard, Lillian (Carl) Carey, Ronald (Lisa), Regent (Debbie), Andree and their families. Survived by his sister Gilberte (Roger) Cote and predeceased by 12 other siblings. Family and friends are invited for visitation at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 3 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Eglise Immaculate Conception on Monday at 11am. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
