Obituary of Gaetana Angela Pilato

In loving memory of Gaetana, who was born on September 13, 1957 to parents Fiore and Carmina Cipriano. Wife of 46 years to Salvatore Pilato (2022). On February 6, 2024, she peacefully passed away while surrounded by the love of her children Teresa (Anthony) Perlingieri, Carmela (Salvatore) Bilardo and Sammy (Sarah) Pilato. Her memory will live in the hearts of her five grandchildren Matteo, Alessandra, Nicholas, Milan and Adriana. She will be in the hearts of her brother Frank (Maria) Cipriano and nieces and nephews. Gaetana enjoyed cultivating a marvelous array of flower gardens. May God let her live like flowers, wild and beautiful and drenched in the SON. By the guidance of Our Lord and Our Lady, she is on her journey to her Eternal Home. May her path be illuminated by the blaze of angels’ wings.

Family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, on Friday February 9, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Parish, 272 Vine Street on Saturday February 10, 2024 at 9:30 am. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be given to Walker Family Cancer Center.
