Obituary of Leona Mikitka

MIKITKA, Leona Passed away peacefully at 90 years of age, at Heritage Place in Virgil in the early morning hours of October 3, with her daughters by her side. Leona was predeceased by son Dan, and is survived by daughters Kathryn Nestor and Marion Konik, grandchildren Chris Nestor, Matthew Mikitka, Marc Mikitka, Marissa Williams, Lindsay Konik, and great grandchildren Osanna Mikitka, Laura Nestor, Maelle Williams, Amadea Mikitka, Naomi Williams, and Stephen Nestor. Leona is survived by brother Mike Kindret. Cremation has taken place. While Leona requested no funeral, a gathering shall take place to remember her in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall on Saturday, October 6th, at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines (at Bunting Rd) from 12-1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Leona†™s name to the ALS Society, or to the charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
