Leonard Murray Stoner

We are heartbroken to confirm the sudden passing of our beloved Dad and Brother in his 61st year on Thursday, March 7th, 2024. Len was predeceased by his father Murray (1998), brother Jack (February 2023) and most recently his mother Pauline (July 2023).

Len was the loving father to Darren Stoner (Sherry) and Shannon Stoner (Craig), amazing brother to Jack Stoner (Jodie), Brenda Asiriuwa (Chris) and Donna Guest (Graham). He will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews, Brittney Szucs (Andrew), Dylan Szucs (Mayla), Ryan Stoner (Valerie), Blake Stoner, Bailee Lawther (John), Riley Stoner (Matthew), Madison Guest and Sherridan Guest, and grandchildren Anthony, Ethaniel, and Mackenzie.

Len was born in Grimsby, grew up in Beamsville and graduated from BDSS. He was a proud employee at Niagara Machine Products Corporation for the majority of his working life and enjoyed spending time outside of work with his family participating in a variety of activities, including Golfing or Racing his RC cars. He had a very competitive nature combined with some friendly banter which always led to some great laughs, especially if you were to finish second to him. He was always there ready to help, whether it was to repair a transmission on your car, pick you up after a party or just for some pointers at the golf course. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on March 23rd at Bethany Community Church located at 1388 Third Street Louth, St. Catharines, ON L2R 6P9. There will be a small luncheon to follow. Time to share memories and photos with family and friends.
