Obituary of Gary James Goodbrand

GOODBRAND, Gary - Passed away with his loving family by his side on Monday, April 22nd, 2024 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Sherry for 47 years. Cherished father of Sheri Matfin, Kim Campbell, Robyn (Marc) Poirier and Adam Goodbrand. Loving Grandpa of 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Gary was a long time employee at Lafarge Canada. He loved boating, camping and travelling with family and friends. Gary also enjoyed barbecuing for his family. He was handy man who loved fixing things around the house.Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines on Tuesday, April 30th from 11a.m.-1p.m. A Celebration of Gary's Life will follow on Tuesday at 1p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Memorial donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
