Obituary of Alexander Moskal
The day before his 102nd birthday, Dad joined Mom (Clara deceased 2001). Missing him are his children, Terry (Don), Ken (Judy), Darlene (Daniel), and Diane (Wayne), his grandchildren David (Stephanie) and Christopher (Deborah), his great grandchildren Clara, Nolan, Braden and Leah and his cherished friend, Ann Korotash.
Dad retired from the St. Catharines Transit Commission at the age of 62. He was proud of his accident free service and enjoyed all the people he met. One thing for sure, Dad was Captain of his own ship as someone once said.
The family will receive visitors at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. Catharines on Wednesday May 1st from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Panachyda will take place on Wednesday at 3pm in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church, 91 Lakeshore Rd. St. Catharines on Thursday May 2nd at 11am.
A very special thank you to Hospice Niagara for their care and support of Dad & our family during his final days.
Memorial donations to St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church (where Dad was a loyal parishioner since its inception) would be appreciated by the family.
