Obituary of Gwendolen Louise O'Laney

O'Laney, Gwen peacefully passed away in her sleep on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024.

Beloved mother to David and his wife Lily, Mark, and Kelly, Nana to Kaiden, Gavin, Zachary, Ashley and Alivia. Loving rembered by Margaret, Sandra, Heather and Scott and her many friends. Wife of the late Stephen. 

She was 68 years old. Born on January24-1956 in St. Catharines, Gwen lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

She touched the lives of all who knew her with her kindness, grace, and unwavering love.

Gwen  was a devoted mother who dedicated her life to her family. Her unconditional love and support were the foundation of her family's strength, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her role as a loving mother, Gwen was a dear friend to many and a source of comfort and guidance to all who crossed her path. Her warm smile and gentle spirit brought light into the lives of those around her.Gwen enjoyed simple pleasures such as spending time with her family, reading, and tending to her garden. Her love for life and her zest for living will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

While we mourn the loss of Gwen, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.

A private visitation to celebrate the life of Gwen will be held.
