Dad's Obituary
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my father, Jerome (Tony) Jarvis Bryant.
After a very long struggle with his declining health over the past few years, may he finally rest in peace in the Hands of The Most High God, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. All glory and praise be unto Him who Reigns above all, forever and forevermore.
Dad, you taught me alot throughout my lifetime. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Yes we butted heads many times, but I was always the one to keep us on that better path. No matter what, I always wanted to have a good father/son relationship with you. You never admitted it, but I knew you always tried hard to overcome the world. As our Lord Jesus Christ told us, when He was raised from the dead;
John 16:33:
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Dad, you will be missed by all of those who loved you. I pray you are rejoined with the many of our loved ones who have passed on before you. May you find rest and peace and love and joy with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Your grandchildren will miss you. My son may not fully understand right now, but someday he will. He knows how much Grandpa loved him. He is blessed, and even knew when you were sick. The Spirit guides him. Now may that Holy Spirit guide you, Pop, in the next phase of your journey.
The biggest shout-out to all my family, and all of my extended family throughout the years- the ones who knew us growing up until now- as well as anyone my Dad looked at as family or friends. Some of you have gone long ago; to the remaining- thank you for all the good you ever did for my Dad and our family. Respect.
May you find eternal rest, Dad. I'll see you again someday. So I'll see ya later, okay? Love you, Pop!
