70 years
Dwayne passed away unexpectedly at Niagara Regional Hospital on Tuesday May 21, 2024. Loving son of Elsie (nee Axent) and John Chapman (both predeceased). Beloved husband of Brenda (nee Biondi); loving brother of Dee (Robin) of Sault Ste Marie, David (Tammy) of Midland, Susan Shearer (nee Chapman; predeceased) and brother-in-law of Jim Biondi (Colleen). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dwayne was a big man with a big heart. He truly cared for people and this was reflected in his 45-year professional career at Canadian Tire and his relationships with family and friends. He had a passion for decorating, especially Christmas trees. He loved the sun in Puerto Vallarta and sharing meals with his loved ones. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all of the people whose lives he has touched. Donations are welcome and can be made through George Darte Funeral Home website Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre, Lincoln County Humane Society All events are at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines. Visitation; Sunday, May 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. Service Monday, May 27 at 11 o’clock.
