Obituary of Nora Isabel Kent

On June, 26th 2024 at the age of 78, Nora Kent went home to be with her Heavenly Father. She was born on May 16th, 1946 to Evrard and Evelyn in Quebec. She is now reunited with her husband, Lionel Kent, her parents and her siblings Percy and Muriel.  She is survived by her cherished children Barry Lloyd, Faye Lloyd, Kelly Lloyd, Ramona (Adam Frank) Kent (children-Jeremiah, Noah and Isaiah) and Vanessa Kent (children-Evelina and Natalia) with many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren to mourn her. Missing Nora, would be her beloved aunt, Mary Goddard and close friends, Maryanne Harvey and Sue Derby.

Nora was a loving and caring woman who loved spending time with her family. She constantly put others before herself and appreciated the simple things in life. She had a love for birds, deer, flowers, plants and overall nature. She enjoyed doing puzzles, listening to hymns and watching Christian programming. Her faith was extremely important to her. She loved sharing the Gospel with loved ones and friends and singing hymns wherever she was. She was a kind and gentle soul-an “angel in disguise,” who truly will be missed.

The family wish to extend their gratitude to the PSW’s, home nursing staff and dialysis nurses who were like family to Nora and who gave exceptional care.

In keeping with Nora’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585, Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family wish to invite family and friends to the funeral service to be celebrated at the Harbour Fellowship Church on 51 South Service Rd., St. Catharines at 12:00pm Friday July 5th, with burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
