Obituary of Beth Marie Mason
It is with sadness, we announce that Beth Mason passed away suddenly on Saturday July 13, 2024 in St. Catharines. She is the daughter of Lorenzo Gauvreau and Argentine Gauvreau (nee Landry), both predeceased. Beth was the loving wife of the late Allan Mason (2020). She is survived by her daughter, Eva, a resident of California.
After her retirement as a dental assistant for 28 years in Hamilton, Beth and Al became residents of Port Dover in 1991. They welcomed many friends and family at their home on Lake Erie. Beth was involved in the Port Dover Horticultural Society and volunteered at the Lighthouse Theatre in town.
Beth was predeceased by several sisters and brothers, (Violette, Bill, Rita, Wilfrid, Joe, Oscar, Delores, Ben, Roger (Al) as well as sisters and brothers-in-law. She is also survived by three sisters, Gilberte (Gail), Reina, Annette and two brothers Ray and Vic.
Many thanks to the kind and dedicated staff at Henley House, where Beth enjoyed her last years. In keeping with Beth's wishes, cremation will take place with no visitation or service. Donations may be made to the Charity of Your Choice.
