I am really going to miss Auntie Claire, the last of my aunts and uncles from the Courchesne family. I always felt very close to her, from the time I was a little girl. As an adult, I was very grateful that my work to me down to Mississauga regularly, so I was able to hop over to St. Catharines for many happy visits. After Aunt Claire moved to Calgary, I was able to get out twice to visit her. We talked regularly on the phone, and had many good laughs as well as deep conversations. She was my special buddy and cheerleader, who always had a word of wisdom or insight to share. She often told me how very much she loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. And we never finished a conversation or visit without telling each other "I love you".
She was a true blessing in my life, someone I admired and learned from. I have no doubt she is in eternal joy with God and all her loved ones who have gone ahead.,
