SHIELS, Dorothy May - Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, November 14th, 2012 at the St Catharines General Hospital at the age of 79. Beloved wife of William (Bill) for 60 years. Cherished mother of Lorraine (David) Campbell, Steven (Carol) Shiels and Paul (Jackie) Shiels. Loving Nana of Scott(Amanda), Angela, Brian (Laurie), Gillian(Gio), Gary (Connie), Kyle, Devon, Paige, Kaitelynn and Austin. Great grandmother of Abigail, Piper, Alyssa, and Tessa May. Loving sister of Hugh (Margaret) Gaffney. Loving sister in law and friend of Moira and John Orr. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Dorothy's Life will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, November 17th at 11a.m. in the funeral home chapel. As per Dorothy's wishes, memorial donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in lieu of flowers.
