Obituary of Scott James Mathison
Scott James Mathison Sr. passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday November 5th, surrounded by loving family.
Pre deceased by his mother Shirley Pacquine and his sister Debbie. Left to mourn his passing; his sons Scott and Michael, ex-wife Senga, sister Kathleen and brother Randelle (Teresa), and grandchildren Ryder, Lily and Lauren. Also missing Scott, long time friends Ron, Jimmy and Paula.
Born in 1963, Scott worked as a roofer for many years. He enjoyed playing guitar, going camping and being in nature. Scott was proud to earn his second-degree black belt in karate. He greatly enjoyed long rides out in the country and sightseeing.
Scott’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and care workers on the 4th floor palliative care unit at St. Catharines General Hospital. Their care during Scott’s stay truly went above and beyond.
Cremation has been entrusted to the George Darte Funeral Home. A private service will be held at a later date.
