Obituary of Donald Orr

ORR, Donald Temple †" In his 56th year February 7, 2009 in Toronto. Don was the loving son of Dr. William J. Orr and the late Edith H. Orr of St. Catharines. Loved brother of James (Sally), Bill (Manon), and Bob (Judith). Dear Uncle to James, Sarah, Katie, Heather, Graham, Anne and David. Don was a gifted musician, writer and humourist. A graduate of Trinity College, Univ.of Toronto, he spent many years conducting in opera houses of Europe. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Don's family will receive visitors Tuesday February 10, 2009 from 1 - 2p.m. at St. George's Anglican Church, 83 Church St, St. Catharines. A Funeral Service to celebrate his life will follow at 2 p.m. If so desired, donations made in Don's memory to the "Dr. Orr Fund" of the Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre in St. Catharines or a favourite charity would be gratefully appreciated.
