Susie, Tracie, Heather - our deepest sympathy to you all during this difficult time.
It has been many years since I last saw your dad, but the memories of your father and good times we had throughout will remain with me for a lifetime.
Always, when my thoughts drift back to Junior Hockey I see Frank with that likable grin and his deep down anticipation to simply have fun with just about any situation. I have great memories... like the nickname he inherited from the 1971 team "Woody" because of that out of style brush cut he wore - someone said he looked like Woody Woodpecker..."to todays standard he was just ahead of his time".
Frank, although our time was short thanks for the many great memories.
You were more than a coach to me, you were my friend.
Will see you someday on the "all heaven team"... please, when it's our turn to join you there just don't make us practice without pucks and "O'ya" cherry pie will have to be on the pregame menu... but that's a whole other story.
See you then, old friend.
Jeff Jacques St. Catharines Black Hawks Captain 1971-74

My thoughts and prayers to the Milne family. I spoke with Frank on occasion here in Pensacola and was just absorbed by his love and passion for hockey. His positive, can do attitude was a delight to be around. Pensacola will miss Mr. Milne.

Dear Heather, Tracy and Susan:
I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Frank's passing. Some of my fondest memories are listening to Uncle Frank and Dad (Sam Finnie) share the stories of all the good times and mischief they enjoyed growing up together as uncle and nephew - being just 15 days apart in age (Uncle Frank died on Dad's birthday). I remember them laughing until they cried when they confessed some practical jokes they had pulled. We will miss the laughter and that wonderful smile your dad had!

Dear Heather, Tracy, Susan
My deepest condolences to the family. Frank was our coach and friend in jr "A" in St. Catharines Black Hawks 1972 -1973. Have many memories that will last a life time and have shared with my family and friends.
Like the time we lost to the Montreal junior Habs in Montreal. Took the six hour bus ride home and then put on our wet equipment and skated for two hours back in St. Kitts, no pucks one dim light on in the building.
After two hours (5:30am - 7:30) up and down the ice, told us to go home and we practiced again later that Saturday.
Lots of life lessons, we gained from having the opportunity to spend time with Frank.
He had a great sense of humor, hated to lose and but he could laugh at himself and situations.
It has been my privilege to have known Frank, the memories are everlasting.
Will be thinking of his pretty and now grown-up daughters and their families at this time
You are all in our thoughts and prayers,
Terry Casey Vancouver, British Columbia

Frank will definitely be missed by all hockey fans. He touched many lives with his kindness and big heart. I only wish he would have written that hockey memories book we so often discussed. I'll miss you, Frank.

From the first time Frank and I met there was an immediate friendship. Since Frank left Pensacola a few years ago we have kept in touch every 3 weeks or so, which was Franks way. I will never forget the twinkle in his eye the day I told him "If I could pick a Grandfather for my children it would be you". I will miss Frank's friendship, support and guidance Hockey and the world has lost a truly good man.

Dear Heather, Tracey and Susan,
this note is just to say how sad we are for you and your families, although we have not been a close part of each others lives for many years, I have to say that the memories of Uncle Frank that we have are so warm and sweet. Those smiling Milne eyes and cute chuckle was heart warming. He and Aunt Helen and the three of you girls, it was priceless to listen to you guys joking around with each other What a great family bond and like I said the memories we have, I am grateful for. Just know that we are thinking about you and isn't it nice that he was the kind of guy that will be so memorable. All of our love.

Dear Heather, Tracey and Susan,
I was so sorry to hear of your dads passing. I always remember idolizing your dad when we were younger. I thought it was so cool that he was the coach of the Beehives and the Blackhawks. He gave me autographed sticks and programs when we were kids. He was a very caring man. He would always call my dad when he was sick and was so supportive. I am thinking of you and offer my sincerest condolences

Dear Heather, Tracy, Susan, and families:
Deepest sympathy to you and all who loved Frank. We were shocked to hear of Frank†™s unexpected passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. It is very sad to lose a brother, but I truly believe he†™s now in a better place where he can once again do the things he loved best: play a great game of hockey (our Dad was so proud of Frank†™s accomplishments as a professional in the OHL); put together a new winning hockey team for Heaven; travel once more with Helen; admire thoroughbred horses; and take in a an exciting horse race or two some sunny day....With love and condolences, Uncle George and Judith Milne, Centre Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia
