There is much that can be said about Mr. Charkowy, more than can ever be expressed here. I have wonderful memories of our time together especially at the restaurant and at Folk Arts. He was a kind and patient man who contributed to his community in many ways. He was a dedicated and hard working man, an artist and an avid reader, who celebrated life with his family and friends. We will miss you and think of you fondly, now and always.
