Obituary of Brian Allen
ALLEN BRIAN Suddenly on Saturday May 21, 2005 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at 55 years of age. Beloved husband and best friend of Dawn (nee: McPherson). Loving father of Sean and wife Melissa of St. Catharines and Andrea of Montreal. Cherished grandpa and best pal of Walker and Avery. Dear brother of Jerry (Carol) of Peterborough, Nancy (David) Rollo of Cambellford, Danny (Gloria) of Calgary, Lynn Withers of Peterborough, David (Elaine) of Bellville. Loved son in law of Helen McPherson, brother in law of Gary (Barb) McPherson. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Bernice Allen. Brian will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Brian was a long time contributor to the sport of Lacrosse in St. Catharines and all of Canada, and was recognized as "Mr. Lacrosse" Ontario, in 1990 for his contributions to the sport he loved. Brian was a graduate of the University of Western Ontario. He will be sadly missed by his co-workers and friends of the Gilman room of General Motors.
Brian is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St, where a service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday at 11:30am. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
