Obituary of Michael Mudrik
MUDRIK, Michael- Passed away with his loving family at his side at home on Tuesday, January 18th, 2011 at the age of 81.Beloved husband of Mary for 51 years. Cherished father of Debbie (Shawn) Watters, Michael (Susan) Mudrik, Kevin ( Michelle) Mudrik and Joe (Louize) Mudrik. Loving Dedo of Haydn, Emmett, Madelen, Kaleb, Noa, Siobhan and Jude. Special brother of Anne Kuchan and Noreen (Walter) Bartkiw. Brother in law of Betty Roman and Libby Gardon. Mike will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and family in Slovakia and the United States. He was a technical teacher and football coach at St Catharines Collegiate for close to 30 years. Mike coached C.Y.O. Hockey for many years. He was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan and had the best looking grass on his street. His family was his Life. A special thanks to Nurse Nancy for her compassion and care. Mr. Mudrik is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Friday at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Star of the Sea Church, 34 Elgin Street, Port Dalhousie on Saturday at 11a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to Star of the Sea Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
