I fondly remember hearing many stories about the Buckley's warm hospitality and wonderful parties (New Year's Eve, St. Patrick's Day and Canada Day) with lots of jokes and who could forget those pig noses!! My parents (Roy and Phyllis Turner) enjoyed every moment of your special friendship. May you rest in peace.

I never had the pleasure of knowing this gentleman personally, but I do know Kelly, his daughter. If a child is a reflection of the parents, then this man was a loving father with a beautiful spirit. God bless his family with comfort and peace.

To all the Buckleys;
We'll all miss your dad and husband. In talking together, we remember his humour, golfing, visits both at Sharryn and Gene's, as well as at his and Ginger's house. We remember all of the fun he was. We remember how nice he was. Right now, we remember all of you, and will be thinking of you.

Sincere condolences from the MacCrimmons, folks. I recall many happy supper hours back in the 70's, courtesy of Lloyd and Eileen. A fine, humble person, indeed.
Can't make the service Fri. but will drop around to-day.

Farewell to a Hero
The headlines last night read "Farewell to a Hero". The story about MY hero wasn't on the front page.
When I started work at Fairview Animal Clinic, I became one of Dr. "B's" girls. It was my first job out of veterinary school and I was only going to stay for one year before checking out greener pastures. But...I soon came to love and respect my new "family" and friends. Dr. "B" was my mentor, my friend, and my confidante. He cared deeply for his patients and friends whether they had two or four legs.
Dr. and Mrs."B" were the parents most kids could only dream about. There was always room for one more at the Buckley dinner table and I often snuck in.
I am so greatful to have known and worked with a man of such character and compassion. I will always remember his love and support and want to thank Mrs."B" and the Buckley family for allowing me to share in their lives.
May God Bless You All
Sherrill

Dave and I want to express our heartfelt sympathies for your loss. We so enjoyed talking to Lloyd, after so long, at Gloria and Ken's anniversary party. In his older age he remind me of his father as well as mine (Wilfrid) - that Buckley look is such a distinguishing trait! Kelly, you were so loving to your Dad from the way you looked at him to the thousands of ways you took care of him over these last years. God rewards people who love their own! Our prayers go out to all of you! -

I remember Dr. Buckely with much fondness. I worked at Buckley and Combe Animal Hospital as an Animal Health Technician, in 1884. He was always very kind and had a wonderul sense of humour. He was well liked and respected by his staff and clients.
My condolences to his family at this time.

To Ginger and Family,
How sorry we are to hear that Buck has passed away. As a neighbour and friend of nearly 30 years, he will certainly be missed. Always a gentleman, he had a way of making each person feel special. From the infamous "circle parties", golf tournaments, casual swims and pig-outs, all accompanied with the sharing of many glasses of wine . . . so many wonderful memories! Bye Buck. 'til we meet again!

Dear Kelly and Sharryn,
Ruth and I are saddened to hear of your father's passing. I first met him when I met the Rant at his home a few years ago. My last memory is of his great smile at the last MOON concert when he sat in the front row with your mother and listened with, I'm sure, great pride.
Ruth and I will keep you and your family in our hearts and prayers.
