Bravetti, John
Suddenly, on Christmas Day, after a heart attack at his home in his 54th year. He was loved by all who knew him, his sincerity, kindness and generosity will never be forgotten. Loving husband of Luisa Bravetti (nee Accardo). He was a caring and loving, and proud Dad of Melanie (Jeff) Contini and David Bravetti. Cherished brother of Mauro (Rosemary) Bravetti and Rose (Antonio) Di Bari, and brother-in-law of Joe and Rose Ippolito. Dearly loved uncle to Christopher Bravetti, Alessandro Di Bari, Lauren, Evan and Kara Ippolito. Beloved son-in-law of Andrea and Lina Accardo. Predeceased by his parents Erasmo and Enrichetta Bravetti, and his stepmother Maria Bravetti. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
John will be remembered for co-founding the Ridley Heights Plaza and co-owning and operating the Welland Avenue Car Wash. Sporky will miss you.
John is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church, time to be confirmed. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home, time to be confirmed. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to Wellspring Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
