I had the pleasure of many a good conversation with Rodger, as I did many a minor paint or other repair in his office at the CIBC building. A very caring and intelligent lawyer who will be missed by all who knew him, and those amongst his law associates Rest in peace Rodger, God Bless.
Sincerely, Geoff Peterson

Richard & Kate, Doug & Veronica & Gordon Family,
Mike and I send our heartfelt condolences. Your dad was a true gentleman, he was so gracious when he helped us through our parents' estate issues. And I know he was a great dad because the mark of a great dad is how warm and real his kids are, and Flash you have the biggest heart in the world! Our parents thought the world of your dad, my dad loved dropping your dad's name like we had a family retainer. I remember years ago when our grandma turned 80 andcwe had an open house at my mom and dad's. Your dad dropped by to pay his respects. You would have thought the Prime Minister had dropped in! Years later when I got to know your dad myself I realized he couldn't be more lovely and kind. I was lucky to know him. I'm sure your family feels like the centre has dropped out, a feeling I remember well. Remember that you keep him alive everytime you tell us a story about the inimitable Mr. Rodger Gordon. I'll be looking forward to hearing one the next time I see you. All our love, Patty

As next door neighbours of the Gordons for the past several years it was our extreme pleasure to get to know Rodger and Helen and their family.
Rodger was a devoted, caring husband to Helen and loving father to his children. He always projected a positive outlook in the face of some difficult health issues over the last few years. I am proud to have known him as both a good friend and neighbour. He will be dearly missed.
Our sympathy and deepest condolences go out to Helen, Heather, Richard and Douglas and their families at this difficult time.

Rodger was my first boss in 1964 for a three month temporary position. He felt I had a flare for the law and recommended me for a job with another firm. Three decades later Rodger joined the firm of Lancaster, Brooks & Welch where I worked and from which we both retired. Rodger was a gentleman, his own man, and a man who worked hard for his clients and friends. He will be sadly missed. All my condolences to Helen and the family.
