Obituary of Gerald James Frederick Lycett

LYCETT, Gerald James Frederick and Dorothy Jean (nee Webb) On Tuesday, July 28th, Gerry passed away peacefully at the age of 83. He was followed by his beloved wife, Dorothy at the age of 75 on Wednesday, July 29th. Having been married for 55 years, they were a wonderful example of two people deeply in love with each other, having a strong will and determination to meet the challenges that came their way. Overcoming all odds, they were reunited at Hospice Niagara on Monday, with their loving family by their sides. They were the cherished parents of Nancy and Joe (Jodi). Loving Grandma and Grandpa of Ian and Sean. Cremation has taken place. The Lycett family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, August 4th from 2:30pm-4:15pm. A service to celebrate their lives will follow in the funeral home chapel at 4:30pm. If desired, memorial donations to Hospice Niagara, CNIB or Garden City Manor would be appreciated by the family.
