Obituary of Barrie Brunton
BRUNTON, Barrie
It is with heavy hearts and extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Barrie at the age of 60. Barrie was born on November 21, 1954 in Guelph Ontario to William and Joyce. Barrie is survived by his son Jeff (Lindsay); daughter Krista Disher (Eric); previous wife and good friend Gill Foster (Dennis); grandpa to Lilly, Willow and Silas Disher; brother of Larry (Bonnie). Barrie is predeceased by his loving parents Barrie had a passion for art. He spent a lot of time drawing and listening to rock music. Barrie had a love for animals, especially his dog Marty. His family and friends meant the world to him. Those who knew him said he was a loyal man and a great friend. He often spoke of his memories in England, as it always held a special place in his heart. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In keeping with Barrie's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service will be at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., Thursday September 17, 2015 at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society and A.A. of Niagara.
